Scepter & Sword is built from the ground up—not by vintners, but by branding experts who seized the opportunity to market wine in an entirely new and disrupting way.
We were tasked to design create and develop the entire experience, from brand and visual strategy, go-to-market strategy, product and company naming, video and photography direction as well as creating the eCommerce website.
What started with a strategic brand foundation, turned into an experiential platform that upends the old and embraces the new. We developed a purposefully designed wine line to make a splash in the traditional wine market.
Called “I, The Queen," Scepter & Sword released three premium wines catered specifically towards women—running on the concepts of inspiration, curiosity, social equality, and female empowerment.
Every aspect of its wines has been designed around the brand core of bold empowerment — from the upside-down packaging that stands with authority on any shelf to the innovative and rich digital presence in web and social media.
Even with thousands of bottles on the shelves, this wine cuts through—because it's bold, unapologetic, attractive, and has something meaningful to say.
